Since 1938, HDi has been a family-owned distributor of paper, safety, packaging, janitorial, and maintenance supplies. After outgrowing our Rockford facility, we relocated to Belvidere, IL in 1995- and we’re still here, proudly serving Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin.

What is an Onsite Facility Analysis?
An Onsite Facility Analysis is essentially a “check‑up” for your facility’s janitorial and supply program.
Our Inventory Specialist walks through your building to assess your current products, dispensing systems, and overall setup. They’ll also review your ordering patterns- how often you buy, what you stock, and where you may be overspending or running short.
With years of hands‑on experience, our Specialists know what works. They’re trained to help you clean better, spend smarter, and streamline your facility with the right products and systems
What is VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory)?
VMI functions by providing a dedicated vendor managed inventory rep for your location, who comes on the same day, around the same time at the interval that works best for your company (weekly, biweekly, monthly, etc.). During their routine visit, they assess your inventory, coordinate with management, take orders for supplies not routinely ordered, train staff on proper usage of products, answer questions and place an order for routine products. This reduces your workload so you and your staff can be more productive.
How long will I wait for my order?
We have specific days set for the different areas we deliver to, most being twice a week. Whether you place your own order online, call it in or your Rep places it for you, you will always know when you are receiving your order. And since we visit most areas twice a week, you should receive your order within a few days. Need it faster? Request a RUSH delivery if you need your order next day.
Want to pick up? Our warehouse is at 1890 Chrysler Drive, Belvidere, IL 61008. Orders may be picked up Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm.
